Eine Kopie eines der vier byzantinischen Pferde der Bronze-Quadriga, die 1204 von Konstantinopel nach Venedig gebracht wurde. Die Quadriga besteht aus vier Pferden, die eine von einem Wagen gezogene Figur darstellen. Aufgestellt an der Westfassade von San Marco, repräsentiert sie die Macht und Stärke Venedigs sowie die enge Verbindung zwischen der Stadt und dem Byzantinischen Reich.

Copy of one of the Byzantine horses from the bronze quadriga brought to Venice from Constantinople in 1204. The quadriga consists of four horses representing a figure drawn by a chariot. Placed on the west façade of San Marco, it represents the power and strength of Venice and the close connection between the city and the Byzantine Empire.
